4-H Camp is run by a teen staff that trains year round to prepare for the week up at camp. Staff are responsible for all daily camp activities from inspiration to hikes to campfire. Additionally they also take the time to prepare nature based education sessions that are both informative and fun! Teens are high school age youth who are dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic about providing the campers with the best experience possible. This teen staff camper relationship is one of many things that makes 4-H camp unique.
Being a staffer at 4-H camp also provides numerous leadership opportunities and character building for youth. These opportunities include but are not limited to, leadership experience, countless hours of community service, a chance to work with other youth and the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime. Chaperones are needed this year. If you are interested in volunteering at Camp, please contact Keith Nathaniel for details to become a chaperone. There is no cost for chaperones to attend camp. Per ACA guidelines we are required to have one adult (age 21 or older) for every eight camp participants. 2021 Camp Directors & Leadership Team
