Check-out Time
June 15, 2016
Camper Parents,
We have a very full camp with almost 225 campers and camp staff registered this year!! Wow, thank you for entrusting your campers to the 4-H Youth Development Program for the week. Your campers will have a fantastic time. We have lots of activities planned and hope that your campers come fully prepared to engage and enjoy.
If you are planning to visit camp at any point during the week please remember to fill out the visitor's log that I will have during check-in. It is important to notify us of your intention to visit.
Please remember to place ALL medications in the original bottles with the camper's name on the prescription bottle. The weather is expected to be very hot during the days - with highs in the 80s and 90s while during the evenings the lows will be in the 50s and 60s. Pack accordingly.
Unfortunately, this year we will not offer a fishing experience. We are not able to secure the necessary staff to make this possible. I truly apologize for the inconvenience.
In case of an emergency evacuation from Camp Seely, we will convene at the Valley of Enchantment Elementary School.
The school address is: 22836 Fir Ln, Crestline, CA 92325
Check out will begin on Saturday, June 24 @ 11:00 am. This is a change from previous emails. Again, check-out is @ 11:00 am. If you do not arrive to pick your camper up by 2:00 pm we will take your camper to the San Bernardino Sheriff's Station located at 92415,, 655 E 3rd St, San Bernardino, CA 92408.
I have attached two waivers for parents to complete and sign. In order for your camper to participate in the Rock Climbing Wall and/or the Bubble Soccer activity each waiver has to be completed and signed. Bring these with you to camp.
I think that's it for now. I look forward to meeting to each of you on Sunday. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me otherwise I'll see you starting @ 2:00 on Sunday, June 19.
Thanks,
Dr. Keith Nathaniel
